Quiet Indignation

Dust
Forms an even coat
On a silently suffering car

On the rear door,
A little kid fingers
Its cry for help
“Clean Me!!”

P.S.> No, this isn’t autobiographical :-)

My dad likes to think himself 'economical' - he always waits until it rains ;)

heyy.... your post also started with dust... :).... though your short posts speak so much more than my quantity...

That seems like my autobiography these days..:)

@Vi: Actually, I had thought of that, but two things go against that: the black color of my car and the rains in Seattle.

@Neel: Brilliant metaphor of dust and my blog. Spot on :-) I definitely shouldn't wait till someone write on the blog 'Write Something'

@Pallavi: Has anyone written anything worse than that on the car yet? :-)

Hi Parth. Long time since I was here last. Quite a lot happening in the cricket world. Are you watching the series?

BTW, when did you spy on my car!

@Radha: Thanks :-)

@SD: I felt a lot of satisfaction in the last test and also in the fact that Ponting will now have to show if he is great enough when the team doesn't work. Easy to come at 1 down and trash centuries when Hayden and Langer have demoralized the opposition. Can't wait for the next test.

Hi Parth,

I found a link to your blog through Radha's. You write really well! I like your quick-witted sense of humor!

Take Care,
Sneha
