Eviction

There there
Don’t believe
All you hear

There are no
Women on Mars
Or men
For that matter

We haven’t
Erred enough
To be
Banished again

P.S: Rumours of a woman spotted on Mars

Reminds me of a quote from Aldous Huxley: Maybe this world is another planet's Hell.

I'm glad you posted a poem - was beginning to miss those from you. :)

@Vi: Thanks. I missed posting poems too. Guess the stock has run a little dry :-) Hope to post some more soon.

are you sure you guys (by you i dont mean you but all men) havent erred enough to be banished??:)

@Niranjan: Thanks. The rumours certainly got the geeky guys excited. I was browsing around slashdot (just trying to keep up, not my favorite haunt :-)) and saw this.

@Pallavi: Maybe we have (and that includes me) erred enough, but perhaps the women have done enough good things to balance that out ;-)

Logged in to see if you had a commentary on "Jodhaa Akbar" :) Saw it yesterday and wanted to see what u thot of it.

I have a joke inspired by ur poem: " If a woman was spotted on Mars, would she be a ... Martinet ? "

@Etripe: What a coincidence. We must have missed each other at the theater :-) I thought the movie was good, but was in need for some crisper editing.

Martinets wielding martinets?
