Agony Of A Protagonist

He talks of it
As if it were
Fiction

As if my world
Never did really
Exist

And I never
Saved it in
2260

P.S> Since this poem is not intuitive, here goes. The perspective I wanted to put forth was that of a protagonist of a story. "He" refers to the author. It is a about the protagonists' belief that he is real, for to him, his world is.

@RS, Pallavi: My apologies. I should have made that clearer. The perspective was a little unusual.

man that was cryptic...was waiting for someone to get it and comment:)...nice one actually...(reminded me of a tamil series where the characters jump out of a movie script and file a defamation suit against the writer:)...

Great one! I was not that cryptic even without your 'P.S.'

Krypton must be a real planet for Superman :-)

Aaah, now with your P.S I get it :)

@Frissko, sd, Radha, Rags: Guilty as charged, and, thank you!

I'll echo the others... I get it now!

And as the author of this snippet, are you going to give this humble protagonist pages of his own? :)

@Jyothsna: Thanks :-)

@Vi: I wonder how much a future world-saver deserves :-)

Wonderful, was bowled over by the first 2 paras and then totally confused by the 3rd. Until I re-read the first 2 again.

Parth: At least this, I hope.

Wonderfully written...I like your perspective although I daresay many authors will insist that their protagonists are living entities because they usually have something of the author in them.
