The best condolence letter ever

True story from 5th grade at school. Our English teacher Mrs. Prabha Nair asked the class to write a letter of condolence to a friend who has lost his father. Here's what one of the geniuses in the class came up with

I am sorry that you have lost your father. I hope the police will help you find him

Hahaha... too funny. reminds me of a letter my sis wrote when she was in 5th or 6th in the exam to her friend in australia..

"How are the sheep doing ? Did you get enough wool for everyone at home ? I would like to have a sweater too"

Hi Parth:

I featured your blog as the "Blog of the Day" at Indibloggers. Just wanted to let you know.

No one can beat kids at lateral thinking. Or maybe it's just that as we grow up our thinking becomes regimented.

Aw...cute letter.

Avinash...I guess you are right. It's funny that our systems of education itself stunts our inherent capability to think laterally.
